Potassium permanganate impregnated alumina beads are manufactured by combining Activated Alumina and various chemicals in a balling or pelletising machine and curing in an oven, before screening to size and packaging. Activated alumina filter is packed into various designs of air handling equipment and is used as a dry scrubber to remove noxious, corrosive and toxic gasses from the atmosphere.
